Self-seeded zinnia from my spring plants.

Nellie Moser has awakened from her summer snooze.

The dwarf zinnias feel so much livelier since the heat of summer has passed.

I once lived in a street called Persimmon Hollow. It was flat, not hollow; no sink holes ever opened up. It was a 4 mile road dead end, no cross streets and I lived almost at the end.

Not even ONE Persimmon tree on the whole, dang, road !!

I looked for them for years !!

We've named our drive "Side Street"
