Weather..

I can't even.....
They predict we get SNOW, tuesday, late afternoon. Could get up to an inch !! 😨
I don't know what to think !! It hasn't snowed here since 1973 when Jacksonville Fl got an inch. Of course it melted the next day, but still !!😄

We'll have to just wait and see what happens. I don't know if I'm happy about it or not ☺️
 
Actually saw some sun today, a bit of wind and felt warmer. The missus got some washing out and almost dry, and the cat loved it. She is just over a year old, so still quite kittenish, but has been reluctant to go out in snow and bitter cold for some time. Today she was racing up and down the garden, skittish, dodging suddenly from side to side.
 
Colder this morning. 6 °F. Propane in the backup stove ran out during the night. Greenhouse was at 32°. Very bad!! Had to use the good ol bucket heaters. ( metal buckets filled with hot coals from the wood stove) this helps keep things from freezing. Was lucky to have the sun come out. This helps greatly! Got Propane refilled. Ready for tonight. It will get down to 3° F tonight. 🤞

Tonight it goes back down around 29 with a lower wind chill, but my brassicas are used to that here and, oh, that reminds me: I need to go harvest some of them !! 😄

That's what they predicted on monday: snow, snow flurries, freezing rain and sleet, but, it doesn't "look" like snow, (albeit I haven seen snow clouds in a while) and now they predict only flurries and lots of freezing rain for tonight and wednesday morning.

We'll see. 😊

We're having sleet and it's now getting covered with freezing rain. We could've had some snow according to the weather map's radar. It's also a bit windy outside. supposed to start snowing between 2 and 4 am.
I couldn't get down my wooden back steps, they're covered in ice @8:15 pm. My dog took one look and refused to go outside. She hates weather !!😂

I'm in zone 9a !! Already had a hurricane two years in a row, isn't that enough !!😂

Found my cleats and installed them on my winter boots.

This ^^^ was the look I got when I told her: " Yes Ma'm we ARE going out for your last pee pee, sleet or no sleet !! "
You can see how happy she was about it. ☺️

I'm setting my alarm for 3:30am because the forcast now is snow for 4am and since it's so rare to get snow this far South, I want proof !! 😂😂😂
