What do you do in winter when you can't garden?

Tetters won't let me sing
Nobody lets me sing either. We had a Christmas play for the parents when I was in 5th grade. I was to sing "Frosty the Snowman" as part of a trio with two of my classmates. During rehearsal while we were singing, the teacher walked behind us, tapped me on the shoulder and whispered : "Just mouthe the words". 😂

So, I sing only when I'm alone in the car. 😄

It always strikes me I do more work in winter getting beds clean and ready for Spring than I do when things are growing in them, And there is nearly always something wants doing in the greenhouse.

Yep, a different sort of work, turning compost, moving leaves from bag to bag, sieving, chipping branches, cutting hedges.

Be glad when spring comes 😁

Cold and snowy so spent the day working on another story. Looks like another indoor day tomorrow as well. At least the snow went on the leaf mould bags, so they should be wet which helps decomposition.
Agree though that one often does more or some sorts of garden work over winter. I know I do.

We have 14 builder bags of leaves waiting for some weather, but they are tucked away under the trees, and so Zigs usually waters them from time to time. Our snow may have lasted for an hour or two, but was all washed away by dawn.
