Click to expand... That brought back a memory. In the sixties a friend had an old Ford Prefect. He worked in the lab in GEC in Trafford Park. One morning he went down to one of the main production aisles with a drawing and spoke to the foreman. "Can you make this for me?" "Yes, but not for a couple of weeks, we're that busy. Anyway, where's your order for it?" "Oh! It's not for work, it's for the bottom part of one of the B pillars of my Ford Prefect, which is rusting away. "Why didn't you say? Leave it with me and come and collect it around 5.00 pm."
