One of the rescue Yorkies I re-homed. The photo sent to me from the new owner. Little Dotty landed on her four paws there. Such a rewarding, if difficult job to do. I re-homed 30 dogs altogether, I had two of my own then as well.

Meterological winter came a day early. We had 33f last night and today's high will be 56. Normally we don't get close to or at freezing temps at night until late December. . My rubber mat at the foot of the steps, laying on concrete, had ice on it, but all my brassicas and the peas were happy as pigs in a wallow !!

It's horrible here too. The present storm ''Darragh'' has made it seem like night time all day today. Can't see indoors without the lights on!
