Tetters … The Chickadees eat a lot off of my seed cakes ,
I put some fruit and nut mix in the feeder yesterday , and he came in front of the camera

Red winged blackbird. I see these only in winter and most of them have orangey-red wing shoulders.


Blue birds are really cool!! I had a box for them just outside my window and watched them raising their chicks for a season.

.....and here is the mistake made in the well known wartime song from Vera Lynn ''There'll be bluebirds over - the white cliffs of Dover....(Dover is about 15 minutes from here by car) There are no 'bluebirds' here!

She just didn't want to call them "Blue (the part of the female anatomy that's chest high) "

We sometimes get the long tailed tits come around but they don't stop.

Oh dear, an explanation may be necessary (honestly, he's as nutty as a fruit cake)... the blue tit had an accident and his head was broken, so Zigs decided to get all arty and repair the damage with some plasticine - grotesque or what

He just needs some pupils painted in so doesn't look so scary !!
