Went to our Cactus Club meeting yesterday. Picked up a few rescues from a member who's gone into a care home.

There were some meally bugs which I've sprayed but apart from that I haven't had a chance to look through them.

What type of mealy bug spray do you use Ziggy, I’ve got that ultra bug killer in a packet

For direct spraying on the fluffy nests of them I use Isopropyl booze or Methylated spirit. I also use bug clear ultra as a systemic killer

This was one of the rescue plants we got at the weekend. Tetters has ID'd it as a Senecio articulatus

Most of them, although I do tend to forget them right in the middle of doing a video sometimes

A bit off topic but it reminds me of a joke

Two blokes were visiting the Welsh village of Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch. They spent the morning arguing about how to pronounce the name of the place and so at lunch time they decided to go get something to eat and ask a local how to say it.

They ordered some food and asked the young lady serving how to, very slowly, say the name of the place they were in.

She looked at them, leaned over the counter and very slowly said....

"Burger King"

I did a short video on this earlier on Youtube but I thought I'd mention it on here as we don't eat Cow's Tongue Opuntias on a Friday for religious reasons
