There is a theory that the cactacea may have branched off of Rosaceae. Pereskia and pereskopsis being the closest.
Mammillaria elongata var. " copper king!

What's the variety? Looks similar to some of the "old fashion roses that have been growing on hundred year old farms or homes.Isn't this a cactus chat? I'm lost somewhere. Do we have a rose chat? I think we might need one!
These are all cuttings. In fact, the one thing I didn't like about the Euphorbia alluaudii is they are barely rooted!! I have no doubt they will grow. They all have roots started. Some are just nubs, but still can tell they are growing. I don't think plants should be sold unless they are rooted and growing. All the tips look healthy with leaves. But for plants sake!!! Please don't sell non or barely rooted !!! Original growers are Altman plants. Shame on them!!! So yes, should make about 8 plants if all rooted. That one that looks like a bunch of sticks with little tentacles might split up do you think?
CLYDE you haven't been paying attention! I already said what the variety was Now you must go back a couple of posts before you put your pot of cuttings on - it is all written down for you !! When you find it, you must write it down one hundred times after schoolWhat's the variety? Looks similar to some of the "old fashion roses that have been growing on hundred year old farms or homes.
Here's the deal, I am computer illiterate. I don't know how to get into things to find everything out that's going on or put out there. So probably miss a few things. I know cactus , Euphorbias, and other succulents. Not computers.CLYDE you haven't been paying attention! She only meant that if you scroll backwards you'll find, in this thread, that she posted the varietal name of the rose she posted earlier. It's called "Wild Blue Yonder." It's a Grandiflora. All I have is my phone. No computers.
I had a word with Barbie @Euphorbia king. Although she joined the forum she couldn't get on with it using her phone. Pity as she wanted to share her Euphorbia pictures with you
Thats too bad. But I understand, my phone is all I have and it Can be a real pain in the ol technology most of the time. Sometimes doesn't even recognize my email !! Can't even look at my pay info for my pay check!
I use an Amazon Fire Tablet to view the internet. I put the type on BIG so I can easily read it but for photos, I take them with my Iphone then email them to myself, open my email on the Fire Tablet and save them to post here.In England, we use laptops. They're much bigger than phones and us old folk can sometimes even use them without our glasses
I had to take a pic of a QR code with my camera yesterday and take that into the post office to send off an ebay package. That messed them right up
We also have parking meters that you can only pay with a phone at. If we have to park up I send them an email with a photograph of 2 pound coins as payment
