I planted five Orange bell pepper seeds inside of an empty K cup. I have three little sprouts so far. First thing I've really grown from a seed!!!

The dogs ate my Mango seed...and the dirt from the pot... I'm getting ready to start again on that. My mom has a few giant tree planter pots I'm going to try and pilfer. Wanting to plant mangos and avocados soon. No pictures of that yet.

My romaines are getting out of control! Why don't they look like the ones from the store and why the heck are they so tall?

I had one unexpected frost this winter. My first celery was struggling as a result, but it seems to be recovering with some new growth. I'm wondering if I should trim the dead and dying stalks... My cherry tomatoes didn't make it.

My other indoor plants are doing fine so far, but my carrot tops are struggling it would seem. Just trying to use them for their greens and seeds... not sure at all what I am doing here, though.

try using a gentle fan on your seedlings in the future. the plants will think its wind and will harden off by growing thicker stems instead of leggy ones. I use a small usb fan just enough to move the leaves.
"They'll think" ...I knew it...plants are sentient too. the Breatharians must be onto something! lol, I kid. but seriously I never would have guessed that to be a thing. I will try it, thank you for the suggestion.

"They'll think"
Of course they will. Haven't you ever watched "The Day of the Triffids"?

Also, some seedlings need mucho light. I have two windows in the corner facing south and west. My seedlings get 11 hours of light during the day and I still have growlights for a few hours on a timer after the sun sets. Leggy plants like yours in that window might need a lot more light. They are starving for it, hence the "stretching".

So, trying again with Mango trees! I'm excited. I got three total seedlings for orange bell peppers and I'll be transferring to pots soon and planting more. All of my romaine and celery have been transferred to dirt and are now outside. I have a new celery plant on the window sill, and I have extended my repertoire into Bok Choy!!! Growing the Bok Choy from cuttings just as I did the celery and Romaine.

Very good !! Just remember, when you do plant your veg out, not to put your veg out in all day sun. Where you are, and even where I am, 1000 miles north of you, our sun is just too hot for veg that needs "full sun"" . For us, full sun is 6 hours of morning sun and shade the rest of the day. Otherwise you are watering twice a day and still having wilting plants at noon.

When I lived in Ft. Lauderdale I had my peppers and tomatoes in dappled shade all day and they loved it. I had a bottlebrush tree in the front yards and a jacaranda about 75'away. Between the two I had perfect amount of light and shade to keep the "full sun" plants happy but not "cooked" in sun.
