Celery...Ins and outs

No, like I'm seriously asking. What is he using to fertilize? I'm trying to figure that out now...
I think he depends on the ingredients that he makes his compost with. They are all labelled quite clearly in the video I added around about the first week in January. IF I could get my seeds to germinate I could get cracking with the job, but so far - nothing. I think it's not the right tie to sow the seed yet, and have ordered more seed. We are expecting a very cold snap which will start tonight and for the next couple of weeks. I'll have to be patient. It will be easier to use the method shown in the videos for feeding the celery when (or if) I get some germination I think. I thought as they were particularly greedy plants a little tomorite or blood fish & bone might be a good addition???? The composted horse manure appears to be important.

When it comes to wallops, in our southern county of Hampshire we have a cluster of very pretty villages called Over Wallop, Middle Wallop, and Nether Wallop! (ouch) As far as I know there are also quite a few riding stables in that area, as there are in the New Forest in the same county. I believe one of the Wallops would have been a subject I attempted a watercolour painting of a while back.

In the video, though, he pours a white liquid into the water that the roots are bathing in in the styrofoam coolers. the little white containers with the peel off lids look like what we buy single serving yogurts in, within the US... so I was wondering if that is legit what he was using?

I think you're thinking of Gallup New Mexico, no, not unless you like cactus thorns in your horse's arse it isn't !! 😄
Actually...I'm planning on planting a metric f-ton of cacti on my property here. I have 2.4 acres and I'm planning on using cacti to line the perimeter in addition to several other fencing materials. I do plan on planting other fruit bearing trees, palms, and cactus pears among them, But it will help keep unwanted predators off my property, keep thieves from looting my fruit, and keep wanted wandering souls on my property (chickens, emus, etc).

I missed that, and will have to check it out too. At the moment I'm not sure when the video was first posted, but you (or I) could contact and ask him through YouTube I believe. If I was going to guess, I would probably go with the product I just outlined for Annie

YES! It is live yoghurt. He is using the live culture bacteria - Lactobacillus, and Bifidobacterium !!
I read through some of the comments after the video.

I thought of tomato feed because of the fact that the two plants can live so happily together.

The buildings are made out of cob, which is compacted chalk mud on a stone plinth, rendered in breathable Lime mortar. I've worked on several of them in Dorset, Wiltshire and Hampshire 🙂
