At 6am had some fog but now it's gone and it's a bit sunny with light winds from the south west temp 9c feels like 7c

Here, the weather is lovely, however I'm worried sick for the safety of two of my three kids and their families who are living in the direct line of this serious weather event.

I had about 1/2" of rain this morning. @ 6am I was a wakened by a huge, loud rumble which woke Rags up and, as usual, she told the thunderstorm off !!

Right now at quarter til 9am it's 48°f, feels like 55. High of 71. Yesterday at this time it was 55, feels like 48... how does that happen? No wind today !! OUTSIDE !!
