Slow forum

Over the last couple of days the forum seems to have slowed right down, I have to wait up to 20 seconds for it to respond. This is not only with entering posts but any movement around the forum too. Could you shed some light on this please?

Have you tried clearing your cache? I'm no computer techy but that always makes my tablet perform faster.

It's not my computer @Anniekay. It's up to speed everywhere apart from here on the forum.

@Mike or @Zigs can you shed any light on this please?

Sorry for the delayed reply. This is an extremely busy time of year for me at work so I don't have a lot of free time to do what I want to do.

Anyways, we utilize Cloudflare CDN to help conserve server resources and make the site load faster in most parts of the world. It's quite possible that you're routing to a Cloudflare endpoint that is having issues. If it's not fixed already, I'd bet it will be soon!

If it's not fixed within the next few days, shoot me a DM and I'll look further into it for you and see what I can find out.

It's been a week now and there's no change. I'll see how it goes over the coming days and let you know either way. The village I moved to a few months ago converted from cable to fibre last year and I'm wondering if there's a glitch. It's strange though that the only issue I have with slow down is here on this forum. Everything else is running normally both on the internet and with my computer.
