He was great at his craft, I remember my parents going through a Bob Newhart show phase where that was The Show and it was so, so funny! My brothers were known as Larry, Darryl and Darryl for a long time after that...

@MamaHawk at the time 'The Driving Instructor' sketch was around it always reminded me of our neighbour. A lady in her mid 40's, so a little later than most people learn to drive. Although she was safe on the road it took her a good while to learn to drive...guess what her name was?
