Going to plant 4 varieties of Tomatoes. Will they cross pollinate?

I know Peppers will but I'm going to separate the two I'm planting.

They can if you plant different varieties close together which only effects the seed, BUT, tomatoes are self fertile so just don't put different varieties real close together if you intend to save seed from heirloom varieties.

Me and my wife talked it over and decided not to keep all seed so all good.

Going to plant Amish Paste this year got me excited. But I did this last year with Cherokee Purple . Wasn't real impressed.

I wondered about this. I grow Moneymaker as my early crop inside and Ailsa Craig later outside usually, no problem, but last year I mixed in a few RAF, the missus brought the seed back from holiday, it's derived from Marmande and disease resistant. I grew it the other side of the garden the year before, but it wasn't super, it's suited to a more Mediterranean climate, so last year I put some in the greenhouse with the Moneymaker. We shall see, might be interesting, I have seed saved from both.

That's the thing my plans are to plant Beef Steak and Amish Paste together and to plant Roma and Marglob together so I couldn't use the seed but like I said might as well just buy the seed.

Maybe I will find a variety that stands out and just go with it.

Having same problem with Peppers. I'm wanting Jalapeños and Cayenne.
