I made a fence topper this weekend .

Ever since we added are den on and pushed it into the garden ,

We have good privacy when the red maple has leaves .

During the winter I wanted too block a few higher views.

I’m sure blinds would have been cheaper but we like to see out the windows.IMG_4433.webpIMG_4436.webpIMG_4436.webpIMG_4440.webpIMG_4450.webpIMG_4445.webp

Well Dr Case, what a good job you are a muscle man. I think that looks smashing! Anyone would think you might be a plumber with equipment of that kind. ;) I still can't get over the fact that you lifted all that rock into the place when you designed the plot. Yours is a garden I have admired for a long time now. Nice job!

PS.... Love the wind sock - we fly a Kent flag (Invicta) and a Union flag, but hadn't thought of a windsock. Just think, our scarecrow Barry could do that for us - he just might be capable, it ain't a difficult job

Brilliant @DrCase 😎

Love the flag 😎

One of the campers gave me a welder, I've not even tried it yet. Maybe I ought to now you've had a go 🙂
An old guy that lived near me stopped by one day to say he could fix the broken axel on my old garden cart. I was delighted and thanked him, then we loaded up the cart in his truck and once in his barn he showed me where the welder was. 😲😦😧

"Grab that welder's helmet and drag the welder outside" he said. So I did and then he commenced to instruct me how to use it !!
I figured it out and got it fixed.

Later I told him that I thought he was going to do the fixing. He said, in his southern accent:
"Oh no, child I can't see a dang thing smaller than a nickel. !!" 😂😂😂

After two young men and I moved it , I had to tack a few spots on the tin that broke lose, after moving it.

I had my helmet on and didn’t notice my bamboo on fire from the sparks until smoke came up in my face ….

I ran and got the hose and put it out , you could see the black spot on the cane .

I was able to cut the burnt section out and add some from the end

Bamboo will grow again quite quickly I imagine. Good job you managed to put the fire out. It could have been worse.
