Zigs has been making yet another video  I always think, oh well, it keeps him occupied and quiet.... this is a good one I think, and quite educational as well, so I thought I'd show you....
It would be interesting to have a look at some of the fallen leaves in your neck of the woods :giggle:

These are off the 'net.

White oak^^ Red Oak

Below is Water oak, or Black oak as some call it. This and a pecan which grew together, are what split during the hurricane and got cut down to stumps.

Cabbage palm or Sabal Palmetto which grows just outside my fence. They stay only a few feet tall and the natives used to eat the hearts, ie, "Heart of Palm ".

Below is a Chinese fan palm. They have fronds about 6' long. This one is across the street from me and I have another just outside my fence on the side street. I'm on a corner lot.

Nice one Annie :)

The Pecan is very much like our Walnut, leaves come off the same and the nut looks the same too.

I like the Oak, there's a low growing one that I saw in Ibiza that has Acorns but the leaves are like tiny Holly leaves, would make a great Bonsai 😎

I forgot the pear tree next door. No telling what variety it is, it's old and produces heavily in late summer but it is definitely not a Bartlet pear ( it doesn't stink like they do)!! 😄
