No worries Nigel I'll take a pic of my bigger monstrose one tomorrow, and I'll see if I can find a pic of my Brother's one too

You've given me an idea to compare 2 identical subulatas over a year, one fed and one unfed, see what happens.

I've got a Mammillaria bocasana like your Ferocactus

Couldn't find the pic of my Brother's subulata @NigelJ but I took a pic of a subulata cutting from last year (on the left) and the Monstrose one on the right. The monstrose one we got as a rescue but I think it's about 10 years old?

I was given this cutting last year. I believe it's a type of Monkey Tail (Cleistocactus). Will be re potting it soon before it wakes up and before the Caveman tries to make a Thagomiser out of it

Wow what a stunning plant, awwww the Caveman is adorable I need some of these little guys, I need helpers in my crazy cactus world hee hee and it’s growing and getting bigger
