Need help with Mango

Hardiness zone

So I got a Mango seed started...barley. I smothered it in cinnamon wrapped it in a damp paper towel, put it in a ziplock bag, and stuck it near a vent pipe above the stove. Probably the warmest place in the mobile home during this winter, and it doesn't get too hot when the stove is in use. I am checking about ever 3-5 days, so this would be the second time I am checking it. During the first time I checked it, I did not find any mold and it had a tiny little sprout. It wasn't exactly dry, but I felt it needed a smidge of water, so I wet my hand and flicked water at it with my fingers twice. Not a lot of water at all. I folded it back up and put it back in the wrap and bag and stuck it back on the shelf closer to the door than the vent. The sprout has quadrupled in size! But it is also starting to mold...Do I need to clean it and change the wrap?

And the brown jacket thingy, with all of the mold, just came off...lmao. I'm going to make it a new wrap and see where that get me.

Question about mangos, though... Do Mangos self pollinate? Or do I need two trees?

Mangoe trees are monoecious ( probably spelt that wrong) they have both male and female flowers on, but two different varieties of mango planted near each other, 50' or so, will pollinate each other and make a bigger crop.
It's monoclinous Annie I didn't know, I had to look it up. 🥴 I would have said bi sexual, it's easier 🤭
