Why is it hard to see Succulents as plants?

I don't find it hard. They have roots, they have leaves and they flower, That's a plant.

I have some Aloe Vera that has just now bloomed. It is very big.

What on earth do you mean Rockers? They don't look like monkeys or spiders - maybe a bit like some people, especially the lumpy ones! Do you love 'em or hate 'em then???

Aloe vera in Ethiopia

I took this nearly decade ago, on a trip to Ethiopia, growing wild all over the placethis was one of the better looking plants.

There are so many similar looking aloes. but I don't ask if people are sure that's what theirs is, some get really shirty, sorry, only asking.

There are 'living stones', succulents that imitate pebbles, can't see why people grow them, put pebbles in the pot, never need to care for them, never die, and look just the same.
