Thinking about what Annie said earlier, I was getting quite bad cramps in the legs. Usually at night when I stretched in bed. I'd be up and hopping around the floor trying to get them to stop without waking Tetters up

I thought it was just because I was getting old.

But then we stopped drinking the tap water...

Got one of these...

Not cheap but very good at taking most of the rubbish out of the drinking water. We could even use it to filter rain water if needed. They have ceramic filters that need changing but so far we're still on the ones it came with (you can wash them gently if needed) and not showing any signs of water quality deterioration yet.

We've had it about a year.

We noticed that we were actually drinking most of the water we were taking up to bed instead of sipping it like we did when it was unfiltered. It tastes a lot better too.

But the main think I noticed is that my cramps have stopped....

Well, that’s quite a relief, isn’t it, to be relieved of cramps in your legs at night by filtering your water !! I wonder what it was that you had been ingesting that made your legs cramp.

But, those cramps of yours are quite a bit lower than the ones I was thinking of 😁🤣

Water your ass....it was all those cactus thorns stuck in your leg

Yep, it was actually a cactus spine that killed King Harold at the Battle of Hastings in 1066

Most people think he was shot in the eye with a Norman arrow but they weren't very good shots so they killed him with a Mexican Fence Post Cactus that they bought off of the Vikings who had discovered America 45 years earlier in 1021 :)

Might just have been a coincidence but there wasn't anything else we were doing differently.

I cleaned the ceramic filters today and took a few pics so you could see what I was waffling on about.
