The bug hotels are starting to fill up ( look closely and you'll see a predatory wasp on the biggest bamboo stick on the lower house ) and I think they're liking the Crepe Myrtle blooms in their "yard". To the left of the upper house is the very last bud of the swamp lillies planted at the foot of the pole.

After hard freezes everything seems to have bounced back around the parking area, though some plant like the japonica are smaller once pruned of frost damaged limbs.
