Hello Swampy !! Don't mind if I call you that since Palustris is Latin for "Swampy" !! I wish I'd of thought of that for a name !! Cool !!

Palustris is actually Latin for Marsh which is apposite and why I chose it. Used to be Owdboggy which was my father's navy nickname.

I always knew it was you, I knew your garden right away. I've always preferred this name though, just couldn't get my head around the other one. It's so nice to see you on our new meeting place, and looking forward to seeing how rosy everything is in your garden these days. I'm either called Tetters (when in cricket mode) or Tetley (my first faithful Yorkshire terrier) some people just call me Madam though ..... I don't suppose you want to be ''swampy''...... do you?......it would be in a friendly way wouldn't it Annie.

Oh yes, you know me, I just like to kid people, have a laugh, nothing rude. A marsh, a swamp, a bog, all pretty much the same thing, IMHO.

I think the images of the garden from the past may well have been our old garden. We had to move as age and infirmity caught up with us. This garden is a lot lot smaller, but more manageable these days,

What a shame, - you kept that garden looking so lovely. @Sheal has just downsized too... looking at her new garden proves that good things can come in small parcels. I'll look forward to peeking at your space now ... I've got my glasses all ready

A good layout and the right choice of plants are a great help. The previous owner of my place got it just about right.
